My latest Xbox Live Movie Purchases

I don’t have cable but I do watch 2-5 movies a week.  Mostly through Xbox Live or Netflix.

Flash of Genius – excellent.  Inspiring.  Greg Kinnear is a great and underrated actor.

Burn after Reading – good.  I hate those movies when someone dies all of a sudden, split second, nothing leading up to it.

Alexander – good.  I was unaware they breast enhancement so many years ago.

Hard Candy – excellent.  Twisted.  You don’t want to watch with children or a weak stomach.

Send e-mail to AT&T SMS customer

I use these a few times a week to send short messages to some of my friends.

Digital Short: Doogie Howser Theme

One of my favorites!

The Notebook

I’ve had this one sitting on the entertainment center for a while.  I finally popped in.  Good flick.  I am a Rachel McAdams fan now.

Finally AT&T pushes service book for YIM to BlackBerry

It is about time.  I am not sure what all BlackBerry models they pushed the service book out to but I do know that my Bold did get the service book and I have read that others have gotten it on the Curve 8310.

There are several ways that Yahoo! Messenger may be installed.  Personally, I prefer over-the-air.  If you also prefer over-the-air, use #1 below from your desktop computer and have Yahoo! send an SMS message to your BlackBerry with the URL in it.  This will allow for a quick browse to the download on your device.

  1. From your desktop computer with BlackBerry Desktop.  Start here, http://mobile.yahoo.com/blackberry/messenger
  2. Over-the-air, from your BlackBerry device web browser, http://blackberry.com/yahoo/messenger

Manage your BlackBerry e-mail accounts from desktop

When managing my e-mail accounts from the BlackBerry I never noticed the message at the bottom of the page that stated you could create a BlackBerry user account and manage your e-mail account setup from a desktop web browser.  The thing I like the most is that you can change, or get rid of altogether, the “sent via BlackBerry” signature.

For all my BlackBerry – AT&T pals out there, here are the basic steps.

  1. Ensure that your BlackBerry is connected to the AT&T network.
  2. On the BlackBerry go to Options > Status.
  3. Note the PIN and IMEI values or leave screen as is.
  4. On the computer, browse to http://www.att.com/blackberrystart
  5. Click Create New Account.
  6. Accept the End User Agreement.
  7. Enter the PIN and IMEI values.
  8. Continue with account registration and then login to manage your e-mail accounts, signatures, etc.

Atonement

Very good flicJames McAvoy did a great job.  I have been a big fan of his since watching The Last King of Scotland.

Gears of War 2

Playing GOW2 on the XBOX 360.  Great game.  I’d describe it as being 99% just like the first GOW.  This one however, much more blood and cursing.
